The public vote campaign is designed as a platform for all the submissions to get views and for the teams and individuals behind them to get publicity. Your success in the campaign is dependent on your promotion and sharing of your project and the entire campaign. Please tell your friends, family and colleagues to vote and share results on all social media platforms.
Seeding has been determined by project siting only where the content, the images and pdf's of the projects were not seen. The seeding is a predetermined condition of the process.
Each project will have a gallery of up to the (5) jpegs submitted and a video if provided. PDF boards will not be displayed (PDF boards are exclusively used in the Jury Process). A 'PollDaddy'** hosted poll be the voting device. All polls are fair and created the same. You may vote once per round, per IP address.
**Check PollDaddy website for additional restrictions on voting.
ORLI is proud to announce that the Public Vote campaign winner will be featured as part of ORLI's TEDx presentation on October 10 to be cataloged on the TEDx website for years to come. Winners will also receive and be featured in the publication as well as the exhibition and in a presentation to the American Institute of Architects New York State Convention on September 27 and re-announced at our event on October 10. Winners and finalists may also receive gift cards and other miscellaneous gifts.
This campaign is designed to be viral and your project may be noticed and picked by major architecture blogs. We encourage you to engage blogs and social media sites.
During Public Vote campaign, no projects can be amended on the voting page. However, we will allow each team one chance to 'guest blog' on our ORLI Blog where they may write about their projects, add a description and post newer or additional images. Each team only gets one guest blog and may choose any date for us to post it. Keep in mind this can be used strategically in the first round, (get a head start) or in later rounds (to seal the deal).
Seeding was determined by a blind selection and grouping of the projects based on location.
Voting is open and fair based on a service provided by Polldaddy and breech to their product is not the responsibility of ORLI.
Projects with the most votes per round will advance.
